1. Visiting Team Protocols

Wythenshawe AFC has a duty of care to protect the safety and welfare of its staff, volunteers, visitors, suppliers and any contractors working on the facility at all times and must ensure the implementation of safe and effective social distancing and hygiene measures are in line with government and The FA's advice to limit the potential spread of the Covid-19 disease.


We look forward to welcoming you to Wythenshawe AFC. Due to the Government and The FA Covid 19 guidelines and protocols, we have put in place measures to make sure everything run smoothly, before, during & after the match.

The following are the protocols we have set in place:

• We ask, wherever practicable, that you provide a list of players & officials visiting our facility at least 48 hours before a game is schedule. (This may be updated on match day, if necessary).
• We ask that the list is restricted to Directors, essential team staff (managers, kit-man, physio, media) and the players.
• Our changing rooms and showers have restricted use, 6 people maximum at a time and 2 using the shower at any one time, face covering should be worn whilst inside the changing room at all times.
• Visiting teams will have their own changing & showering facility and are responsible for their own social distancing following Government & FA guidelines.
• The match official will exit the changing facility 1st, followed by the away team & finally the home team.
• There will be no line up or pre-match handshakes.
• During half time, the changing rooms can be used by 11 players and the manager, as it will be less than 15 minutes that they are within the room together, we ask that you observe social distancing during usage.
• Additional seating will be provided at dugouts to accommodate substitutes & manage social distancing.
• Face covering have to be worn within the technical and dugout area as per the Government 1m plus guidelines
• Following the conclusion of the match the away team will re-enter the changing room facility 1st, the home team to follow.

We look forward to your visit to our club but reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises, who consistently or flagrantly disregards these protocols and our risk assessment guidance.
